This species was found on a fallen hazel limb in an area of coppice at Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Redmoor reserve, 5km South of Bodmin, SX070624 in July. A visit on 6.11.09 revealed at least 20 hazel stools and 2 Prunus spinosa bushes with H.rhododendri thalli. The trust warden has been alerted so this area can be managed in accordance with BAP guidelines.

Thanks for this very valuable information, Pauline. We need to encourage far more people to deliver this kind of species update to the BAP forum pages. I'm taking the liberty of putting your November data on the CATE system so that it is updated, although I know your records will be coming in in due course.
