Natural England / unified foraging code of practice

Is focused foraging for edible fungi justifiable?

Natural England / unified foraging code of practice

Postby GeoffDann » Mon May 02, 2016 11:58 pm

Natural England have organised three meetings this summer to decide a unified code of practice for foraging in England. One is at Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire on 24th of May, one is at Seven Sisters in Sussex on 16th of June and one in the York area on the 30th of June.

It will be attended by several leading British foraging professionals and representatives from various conservation groups. Anybody interested in attending should contact David.Burton@naturalengland.org.uk.

Thanks for that useful info. Geoff. I've contacted David Burton about the Bradford on Avon meeting and two from our Group will be attending.

The Yorkshire one, I presume. I will be attending the other two, but York is a bit far to travel on top of those.
