Found yesterday in the New Forest:
Sadly the specimens and the photos are poor, but the details can be seen. Felty deep red cap, up to 6" across, yellow pores bruising blue, clavate yellow stem, reddish at base, bruising blue, covered with distinct network. The cap flesh was pale yellow, slowly fading to light blue, the stem flesh bright yellow, except in the base where it was pinkish. Taste mild. With oak. As far as I can see it is a good match to the description in the literature. Maybe next year I can get a decent photo as it is such a beautiful fungus.
