Agrocybe arvalis

This one from October 2013 was annoying me. Fortunately today I found some dried specimens and under the microscope the presence of long finger like projections on gill face cystidia led me to Agrocybe arvalis, not common, but not all that rare, apparently often found in flowerbeds mulched with wood chips.
The slender specimens are more typical.

A nice find, Leif. What interesting and distinct cystidia. Not one I have found.

Thanks Chris, at first I thought they were basidia! Fortunately Funga Nordica has a drawing of one.
