Another nice find whilst out for a walk - Rubroboletes legaliae (syn: Boletus legaliae)
A first recording for both Sussex counties (West and East) in either the CATE or FRDBI databases, though I am sure I have found it before.
Cap cuticle discolours dark clarety purple on damage being inflicted (pinched), reticulum on most of stipe, discolours blue on handling. Pores orange-red discolouring dark-blue on bruising. Tubes olivaceous green/yellow (discolours). Cap flesh very pale lemon, discolours blue on cutting.

- Found in parkland on grassy soil under mature oak. Note the rosaceous/vinaceous overtones of the pileus

- Cap flesh and stipe discolouring blue when cut. Note no coloured line between tube top and cap flesh
Edited to correct spelling and semantics.
